Hello, The highest score I got was 9.5. I found this recipe but had no cumin. Like you I love Mexican foods and those packages of taco seasoning are just too expensive. So would both be options (no water or water and corn starch)? Great blend of seasonings EXCEPT I used half the amount of salt(for the larger recipe) and it was PLENTY salty. Not only is this homemade taco seasoning more nutritious, it’s also cheap!

This morphs into fajita seasoning with a few easy steps: Replace the minced onion with onion powder; omit the coriander and flour; then add 1 teaspoon of sugar. I delete the salt and cayenne for them and of course my mom adjust the taste how her and my dad like.

Honestly, this could probably go on any veggies or protein and would make it taste amazing. I also ran all of the ingredients through my mini food processor which really whirled all of the ingredients together..I used less chili powder and adjusted a few others to suit our taste preferences.A true WinnerVFE. Overall a pretty decent spice blend. I love all things Mexican too…I’m going to be visiting Austin soon….can you recommend a Mexican restaurant that meets your Food Renegade approval?!
